A razor kick scooter is the original kick scooter, and the Razor A kick scooter is great for kids up to teens. Your child will get where he wants to go faster than by traveling on foot, and he’ll have a tremendous amount of fun doing so.

The Razor A is recommended for children over 5 years old and will hold up to 143 pounds. It comes with a six month warranty although this is something you probably will not need. This scooter is build from aircraft grade aluminum and its sturdy design is sure to stand up to years of abuse. And when your child is finished riding, the T-tube and deck fold up nicely. It’s easy to store away. But even better it fits nicely inside a bag and is easy to carry when it cannot be ridden. Plus the scooter weighs only 6 pounds.

Other features like the inline urethane wheels, the bearings and the patented rear fender brake ensure a smooth ride. And since it’s a Razor you know it is quality. This company has won many “Toy of the Year” awards, including one from the Toy Industry Association. Other similar awards have come from TIME Magazine, Parenting, Sports Illustrated for Kids, Parents, U.S. News & World Report as well as Nick Jr. That’s a pretty impressive resume.

Almost all of the reviews we read say kids love them and there were no reoccuring problems that we found associated with this scooter. Even parents love them. In fact one parent loved it so much that the mom had to buy an additional one just so her daughter would actually get to play with it.

The only word of caution here is that it is important for the parents to teach their children riding safety. And there are local, state and federal laws governing the use of scooters.
