Cuponk – Show Up Your Friends

Trick shots in anything are just cool. We love animal tricks, we love pool trick shots, basketball trick shots, just about anything that involves the unusual. With that premise in mind Hasbro has brought us Cuponk, and incredibly addictive game that involves cups, trick shots, and you.

The object of Cuponk is simple enough, you want to try to bounce a ball into a cup. Succeed, and you get victory lights. Fail and your opponent will now to try and show you up. On that level, it’s pretty basic. But there’s far more to it than simply bouncing a ball into a cup. The idea is to come up with the most outrageous tricks you can dream up, and do it better than anyone else. The goal is to be the only person who can do the amazing things you do. Anyone can bounce a ball into a cup with a little practice, but can you do it under crazy circumstances?

There are a lot of variations here but the object remains the same. With the game you’ll get a cup, two balls, the instructions, and two decks of cards. Those cards show you some ideas for shots that seem impossible, and if you succeed, everyone will be amazed. But you’re not limited to the cards. In fact the only limit is your imagination as anything and everything can be used as you dream up new and amazing shots. Display your skills and show everyone how good you are before they show you.

Let’s talk about some of the variations included so you’ll get an idea of just what you’ll be trying to do. There’s the Gorillanator that comes with a ramp. There’s the R.I.P version which uses a backboard. And there’s the El Campeon with Funnel. Do these and you’re sure to be the most awesome in your group as you battle for supremacy.

All skill levels will enjoy this game and find it challenging, but the winner will always be either the most skillful (with a lot of practice) or the luckiest. And when it comes to competition, you’ll need a good deal of both.

And you’re not limited to playing in one spot. In fact you can simply put Cuponk in a bag and bring it wherever you go. Take it to a friends house. Bring it along on your next vacation. No matter where you play it is loads of fun. In fact the more different places you play, the more fun you’ll have. Every room and every location means more possibilities. The game never has to be the same because you can always change things up by moving to another room. There’s really no limit to the things you can do. Well, there is one limit, and that limit is simply your creativity.
